You are trying to use the menu to paste between different pages, and it works only inside the same browser tab due to security restrictions. To copy elements between other sites and pages, you should use the paste keyboard shortcut (CTRL+V or CMD+V)
As you probably know, Advanced Scripts detects errors automatically and shows a link to activate the safe mode. Still, in some cases, the detection fails, and you need to activate it manually. To do so, you just need to add ?safemode=1 to your admin URL (e.g., www.example.com/wp-admin/?safemode=1)
Note: the safe mode disables the PHP scripts execution inside the admin area only.
